For the first time in the video entry market, the Axis A8004-VE Network Video Door Station delivers an open platform technology, non-proprietary IP-based door station providing two-way communication, HD video identification and remote entry control. The robust A8004-VE is suitable for outdoor use and includes an HDTV camera with WDR. It has been designed to complement any surveillance installation with new levels of security for effective identification and entry control and allows users to quickly and easily identify and communicate with persons at the door and securely allow them to gain access. The A8004-VE connects to an existing IP network and PoE connection allows for installation with one single network cable whilst providing enough power to also support standard door-locks to enable remote entry from a mobile device or a PC.
