The quest for a universal IP video language
Communication between all of our planet’s inhabitants
would be much easier if everyone spoke the same language. Similarly, it would be considerably easier to design a network video system if all IP cameras could automatically communicate with all the other components of a surveillance system, without the need to develop unique interfaces. A common language is needed to achieve this goal, in other words, a standard for how cameras and other units of the system communicate.
